Global Product Manager - Cordless Power Tools
About the role
Ingersoll Rand’s Power Tools & Lifting Business Unit develops and commercializes a broad portfolio of products for the global market, with particular focus on industrial and vehicle service applications. This role, reporting to the Director of Product Management, will drive new product research and development efforts for cordless power tools across categories including fastening, drilling, cutting, grinding, and others.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate distributor & end-user relationships for product research and field trials
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to gauge commercial opportunity for new products
- Work with Sales team and Distributors in field to identify product opportunities and provide training
- Summarize and communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to project stakeholders
- Effectively synthesize inputs from end users, distributors, and internal stakeholders into clear CTQs
- Optimize product value proposition and assist in development of product marketing collateral
- Secure commitment from Commercial leads on new product forecasts and coordinate supply chain
- Collaborate with Commercial and Brand leaders to implement and support promotional activities
- Absess performance and manage product lifecycle and pricing for legacy product portfolio
- Execute in a timely manner all tactical business needs to deliver on Annual Operating Plan targets
- Take on additional assignments / learnings as needed for business and personal development
Requirements
- 4-year degree
- 5+ year work experience in industrial product sales, marketing or product management
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time, including multi-day overnight & international travel

Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $108,000 - $155,000, including incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
