About the Role

As a Global Procurement Manager-Indirect Factory at Solventum, you will have the opportunity to lead a global team of Strategic Procurement category personnel, ranging from Analysts to Managers. You will play a crucial role in interpreting global industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define and deliver results for Indirect Factory Goods & Services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a global team of Strategic Procurement category personnel.
  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Indirect Factory Goods and Services) to ensure business continuity and value creation.
  • Establish and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation.
  • Negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality, and best-in-class service.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for the successful integration of sourcing strategies and overall procurement guidelines and processes.
  • Lead complex projects and initiatives with high value and broad implications for the corporation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and nine (9) years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, or Legal.
  • Alternatively, High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 17 years of experience in Strategic Procurement.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Skilled written and oral communications.
  • Working knowledge of Indirect Factory supplier markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Strong business, contract language, and financial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution.

Work Location and Travel

  • Remote work location.
  • May include up to 15% domestic/international travel.
  • Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
