Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement programs to revamp and strengthen Global Packaging functional capabilities, processes, analytics, & systems.
- Identify improvement opportunities within packaging systems such as Packaging Specifications, Artwork Approval, & Sustainability Reporting as well as other systems in which we interface such as Snowflake, Data Visualizers, & Master Data Management.
- Oversee packaging sustainability reporting programs with a central business support team.
- Manage the Packaging Training & Development curricula development programs, in partnership with the HR Learning team and external content providers.
- Understand technical development processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Work successfully in a global matrix organization with highly collaborative cross-functional teams, bringing technical depth and thought leadership regarding new ways of working.
- Partner with Packaging teams, IT, Data Management, Supply Chain, & Analytics.
- Translate day-to-day operational challenges into continuous improvement work streams and new ways of working.
- Proactively learn and apply AI and analytics tools while navigating evolving data governance standards.
- Support Operations manager to build analytics capabilities and create a foundational knowledge/data-driven approach to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency of work processes for the packaging function.
- Collaborate with Division Packaging Directors, Global & Divisional Packaging Engineers, Global IT Management, CBS Analytics, and Global Supply Chain: Engineering, Network Operations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Engineering or any other related field.
- 4+ years of functional packaging or related technical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Project Management or Engineering.
Pay
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
