About the role
This position is responsible for managing the institute’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial management of the institute, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
- Manage the procurement process and oversee contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
