DaVita is seeking a Global Nephrology Registered Nurse to provide life-sustaining care in an outpatient dialysis center. Schedule

• Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, 3-4 days per week.
• Schedule times vary by location, with most RNs working early morning or day shifts.
• Some holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and make sound recommendations in stressful situations.
• Deliver empathetic, compassionate care—"the way you’d want your own care to be."
• Communicate effectively with patients and teammates.
• Chart patient assessments, orders, and care notes in an electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dialysis RN experience (required for this location).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred. A three-year diploma from an accredited program may be substituted.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in your state of residence.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Qualifications (Nice-to-haves)

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
• Previous experience in Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis, and/or Home Hemodialysis (HHD).
• Background in training, teaching, or healthcare education.

Some Details About This Position

• Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates, separate from your assigned home clinic.
• You must be flexible on the final home clinic placement, as it may be in a different location. There is also the potential to float to various clinics during and after training.
• You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
