About the role

DaVita is seeking a Global Nephrology Registered Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. You will build long-term relationships with patients and their families, working alongside a supportive team in a caring environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized, complex care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
  • Work closely with technicians, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, and physicians to provide comprehensive care.
  • Oversee patient observations, measurements, and machine setups under the guidance of PCTs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A.D.N. from an accredited school of nursing, B.S.N., or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program.
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
  • Two years of dialysis RN experience.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg units is a plus.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
  • Training/teaching/healthcare education background.

Pay

Compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. A competitive total rewards package includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, 3-4 days/week. Schedule times vary by location but are usually early morning or daytime shifts. Some holidays are required.
