About the role

The Development Coordinator works on a variety of fundraising activities and provides administrative support to the Global Markets department. The position involves supporting Global Markets out-the-door fundraisers and fundraising managers in various development activities, such as portfolio management and tracking, scheduling and planning logistics of meetings, event coordination, maintaining donor and team files, pulling reports, sending gift acknowledgements, and basic research.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Global Markets out-the-door fundraisers and fundraising managers in various development activities.
  • Maintaining donor and fundraiser data in the database, including donor/prospect interactions, fundraising plans and strategies, contact information, relationships, and communications preferences.
  • Updating donor and fundraiser data in the fundraising management system to enter data, produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, and track prospects and donors.
  • Applying established processes and practices to improve effectiveness.
  • Providing information to other staff to help them make decisions and solve problems.
  • Performing administrative functions as required.

Requirements

This position is based in the DC metro area or New York Office and follows a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of up to 3 days in person work in the in-office per week during the first year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.

Benefits

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $48,950 - $71,100. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
