Global Marketing Manager - Building
About the role
As the Global Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the global business strategy, marketing roadmap, and product innovation pipeline for Nouryon's Building business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new market opportunities, expand customer relationships, and drive strategic initiatives that fuel sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, development, and execution of the global marketing strategy for Nouryon's Building segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, co-suppliers, and key industry influencers to strengthen partnerships and grow market share.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to uncover insights that drive impactful marketing strategies and enhance customer engagement.
- Identify and champion new product innovation opportunities, guiding projects through the stage-gate process from concept to successful market launch.
- Establish, track, and report on key innovation performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain global value-based pricing strategies for both new and existing product portfolios.
- Partner with the Global Marketing Communications Manager to develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans that support business objectives and increase brand awareness.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- An MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management within the building industry, ideally supporting the dry mortar, concrete, or glass markets.
- Experience working for a building products manufacturer is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams and diverse cultures.
- A proven track record of leadership and delivering business results in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with experience developing strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- The ability to build credibility and earn the trust of commercial and sales organizations.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
