Global HR Coordinator

About the role

As the Global HR Coordinator, you will play an essential role in supporting the Global HR team in their mission to deliver meaningful human resources initiatives and support. You will assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Global HR team while contributing to the implementation of our 5-year strategic plan. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of global HR functions, from annual performance reviews and training initiatives to policy coordination and strategic project support. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building a career in human resources and pursuing advanced education, such as a master’s degree in HR or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • General HR administration
    • Assist in the support and execution of day-to-day Human Resources activities to ensure smooth operations.
    • Ensure all global HR meetings are scheduled, agendas are planned, and meeting logistics are seamlessly managed, including managing meeting invites, preparing materials (e.g. decks), taking detailed notes, and tracking follow-up items.
    • Coordinate HR leadership offsites, managing end-to-end logistics such as venues, travel, catering, and technology setup.
  • Internal communication and knowledge management
    • Oversee and administer updates to the internal employee website (the HUB) to ensure information is accurate, relevant, accessible, and engaging.
    • Expand and build out the HUB platform as needed to meet evolving business and HR team needs.
    • Manage and maintain HR SharePoint files to ensure it is comprehensive, organized, and utilized in a consistent manner.
    • Prepare and develop professional presentations, reports, and internal communications for global HR team, leadership, and key stakeholders to support engagement and decision-making.
  • Project management
    • Maintain and update Monday.com project boards on various HR initiatives, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with team priorities.
    • Update dashboards and produce progress reports on HR initiatives, strategic plan implementation, and HR metrics, flagging and escalating risks to timelines or objectives.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
    • Foster strong relationships with local HR teams in addition to the global HR team, ensuring alignment, consistent messaging, and effective collaboration on HR initiatives.
  • Continuous improvement and special projects
    • Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize efficiency across global HR operations.
    • Participate in and/or lead ad hoc HR projects, providing administrative and operational support as needed.
  • All other tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, administrative support, or a relevant field (internship experience is welcome).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to address diverse global audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively.
  • Adaptable and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Eager to learn, curious, and solution oriented.
  • Must exercise discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and experience utilizing a HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about the HR field and pursuing a master’s degree in human resources or related areas.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-regional HR initiatives is a plus.

Pay

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000.
