Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute shipping schedules to support customer delivery requirements.
- Review production schedules and synchronize shipping activities with operational priorities.
- Manage inventory movements and keep accurate inventory records.
- Support order fulfillment activities by ensuring products are allocated and shipped according to customer requirements.
- Create and maintain shipping documentation, freight records, and inventory reports.
- Schedule freight pickups and coordinate transportation activities with carriers and logistics providers.
- Track shipments and proactively handle delivery delays or transportation issues.
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate finished goods reporting and inventory traceability.
- Perform data entry and transaction processing within ERP systems and other business tools.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, operations, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow.
- Communicate shipment status, delivery schedules, and order updates to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, fulfillment, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience coordinating freight shipments and working with transportation providers.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.
- Experience coordinating inventory movements and order fulfillment activities.
