Responsibilities

• Execute daily shipping activities, including load tendering, documentation preparation, track and trace, and other logistical tasks for both domestic and international shipments originating from WWT warehouses and vendor/remote facilities.
• Ensure compliance with export and import regulations consistent with U.S. and international regimes.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the logistics industry, key players, trends, challenges, and product/service applications.
• Utilize resources, reports, and tools to track operational efficiency and maximize performance.
• Improve personal efficiency and verify the accuracy of others' work to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Identify and suggest improvements for non-value-added processes, activities, and tasks.
• Assess and streamline workflow bottlenecks within teams to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with team members to implement new ideas and achieve process improvement goals.
• Compile and analyze data to assess the impact of process changes.
• Maintain and organize records in accordance with company policies, retention schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Gather and analyze data to identify underlying issues and recommend detailed solutions.
• Implement solutions based on standard practices and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively when faced with competing demands.
• Communicate information clearly in straightforward situations to gain support and resolve differences.
• Assist in conducting cost, benefit, and risk analyses for potential solutions.
• Develop an understanding of laws, controls, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
• Support the implementation of holistic solutions that integrate structure, people, process, and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in both domestic and international logistics and trade compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with U.S. import and export regulations.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma/Lean training.
• Experience with MRP systems (Oracle or SAP).

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $22.00 to $27.65 an hour. Actual salary will be based on factors such as shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs.
