Key job responsibilities
- Own the global product strategy for Amazon LEO’s Emergency Connectivity Services, driving the roadmap from concept through launch while partnering with engineering, operations, legal, regulatory, public policy, and external emergency services organizations.
- Define and execute the long-term product vision for emergency connectivity services worldwide.
- Build products that enable reliable satellite-based communications for first responders and emergency service providers.
- Drive end-to-end product development, ensuring exceptional customer experiences from design through launch.
- Establish partnerships with Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), emergency response organizations, regulators, and global stakeholders.
- Develop scalable solutions that support multiple countries, languages, regulatory environments, and emergency service integrations.
- Balance customer needs, operational excellence, and compliance requirements while delivering innovative solutions at global scale.
- Influence cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, legal, regulatory affairs, and public policy to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 5+ years experience in Public Safety, Emergency Response or related emergency services domain
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in product ownership for a Public Safety, Emergency Response or related service
