About the role
The Data & Tech Solutions team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services. The Director role spearheads delivery of scalable data solutions that support deliverables across the account. The Director collaborates closely with other account teams like Activation, Strategy/Planning, and IT to identify and execute strategies to drive business impact globally.
Responsibilities
- Identify Client’s business issues and form hypotheses and solutions on how marketing technology and data strategies can solve
- Own end-to-end ETL pipelines that feed data to clients and other external stakeholders
- Assess impact of marketplace evolution on current data and technology infrastructure
- Ownership of project roadmap to solve for business challenges and keep clients ahead in the data and technology space
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring proper and timely completion of all critical tasks and delivery against client and agency needs
- Maintain strong working relationship with API partners on an ongoing basis
- Grow operational workflows to align with business objectives, privacy rules, and data governance standards
- Automation strategy planning, execution, and maintenance to improve deliverable timelines for internal teams and clients
- Maintaining, validating, and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines in GitHub environment
- Interfacing with OMG IT to ensure all systems are up to date and functioning
- Written & live presentations outlining tech stack documentation and ETL processes
- Manage & mentor junior team members to build technical skills & capabilities
Requirements
- Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data ecosystems (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)
- Advanced knowledge in the latest privacy regulation updates and current challenges, security evaluations, etc.
- Fluent in latest developments and offerings from data sources/partners
- Strong technical abilities (Shell scripting, Linux, PostgreSQL)
- Advanced Ad API familiarity
- Cloud Data Platform Experience (AWS Preferred)
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, orchestration, and monitoring tools
- Expert-level consulting skills with high profile clients
- Expertise in assessments and improvement of processes
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; experienced in managing a team
Qualifications
- A university degree and 7-10 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
- Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
- Previous experience with maintaining ETL data pipelines
Pay
California: $90,000.00 - $215,000.00
Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. The objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many agencies already require five days of in-office attendance.
