Global Contract Management Specialist

About the role

The Global Contract Management Specialist oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals, legal standards, and risk controls. This role leads contract oversight, standardizes processes, ensures compliance, and partners with legal, sourcing, and finance teams to manage global agreements efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global contract lifecycle process, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination of supplier and partner agreements.
• Ensure contracts align with business objectives, legal requirements, and risk management standards.
• Receive goal-oriented assignments and use allocated resources to optimize contract oversight.
• Give guidance to team members while allowing latitude within organization’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to develop and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks.
• Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure accurate metadata tagging for reporting and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract terms, obligations, and best practices.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal reporting related to contract obligations and supplier performance.
• Manage and leverage advanced reporting tools (Power BI, Excel) to generate actionable insights from supplier performance data and drive executive-level decision-making.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of commercial terms and risk mitigation strategies in a global context.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance legal, financial, and operational considerations.
