Global Benefits Specialist
About the role
Cato Networks is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Global HR Benefits Specialist to join our growing Global HR team. In this role, you will own and manage our global benefits programs while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to deliver an exceptional employee experience. You will play a key role in supporting employees across multiple regions, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and helping scale HR operations in a fast-growing global organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage global employee benefits programs across the US, EMEA, Canada, LATAM and APAC regions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and escalations
- Partner with brokers, insurance providers, and external vendors to administer and optimize benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and statutory benefits requirements across multiple countries
- Support employee onboarding and off boarding processes, including benefits enrollment and termination activities
- Work with Payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions, reporting, and reconciliation
- Maintain employee data and benefits records within HR systems
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies across HR programs
- Develop and maintain HR documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Aid with employee engagement, wellness, and global HR initiatives
- Support cross-functional HR projects and organizational growth initiatives
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Benefits Administration, or a related HR function within a global organization
- Strong experience managing employee benefits programs across multiple regions
- Knowledge of benefits compliance and employment practices in the US and internationally
- Experience working closely with Payroll, Finance, and external benefits providers
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong can-do attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional certifications in HR or Benefits Administration (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of global labor laws and regulations
