About the role
AWS is seeking a sales professional to manage a global customer relationship with one of the largest companies in the world. The Global Account Manager will provide global business leadership and manage this global account.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects, and engage team resources.
- Define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Teem with the customer’s IT Organization to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups.
- Sell at the most strategic level within the account and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
- Work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed.
- Develop formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 9+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
Qualifications
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
- Experience working with large global teams
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory with customers
- Meet or exceed revenue targets
- Create and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Ensure customer satisfaction

Pay
Salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 annually.
Schedule
