About the role
The Global Account Manager leads the strategy and execution of global sales initiatives for key multi-national customers, with a strong focus on the MedTech industry. This role drives profitable growth by aligning customer needs with Tech Etch’s capabilities in manufacturing services, precision components, and engineering collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global account strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer retention, particularly within MedTech
- Build strong customer relationships and position Tech Etch as a partner in product design, development, and manufacturing services
- Own P&L performance and lead account planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
- Partner with product development engineers and customers to support programs from concept through production
- Identify and expand opportunities aligned to customer roadmaps and Tech Etch’s manufacturing and technology capabilities
- Lead contract negotiation and management, including commercial terms and long-term agreements
- Collaborate cross-functionally (engineering, operations, quality) to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
- Provide direction to internal teams and manufacturer representatives supporting global accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field
- Proven leadership in driving global sales strategy and profitable growth within complex customer environments
- Strong experience managing P&L performance, forecasting, and account-level financials
- Expertise in contract negotiation and management, including commercial and legal considerations
- Deep knowledge of the MedTech industry, including product lifecycle, market dynamics, and regulatory environment
- Experience partnering with product development engineers to bring products from concept through production
- Strong understanding of manufacturing services, including contract manufacturing and precision component solutions
- Knowledge of medical device, aerospace, and/or highly regulated industries
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
