We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team.

About the role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for setting sales strategies, identifying leads, developing and qualifying opportunities, and closing business in our Network Edge and Data Security portfolio. Your role will involve working closely with Sales Engineering and Product Management to develop quotes/proposals and share market insights. You will also develop relationships with key partners, distributors, resellers, and VARs for growth of our products within Forcepoint’s Edge portfolio. You will lead sales presentations at resellers and end-user locations, coordinate sales enablement, and formulate new business strategies to overachieve sales quota.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute sales strategies
  • Identify and qualify leads
  • Develop and close business in Network and Data Security portfolios
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering and Product Management
  • Develop relationships with key partners, distributors, resellers, and VARs
  • Lead sales presentations at resellers and end-user locations
  • Coordinate sales enablement with field sales representatives and managers
  • Formulate New Business strategies and implement tactical plans
  • Propose Forcepoint solutions to address customer business priorities and challenges
  • Gain knowledge and insight into customer's business priorities and challenges
  • Develop compelling business value product demonstrations of Edge solutions
  • Deliver business value product demonstrations to architectural, administrative, and executive customer audiences
  • Understand customer's business drivers and network architectures
  • Promote new and innovative approaches, including improvement areas in network design
  • Organize and lead in-region Meetups and User Groups
  • Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Overachieve sales quota
  • Analyze customer needs and determine how to position Forcepoint's Network Edge products and professional services
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal departments
  • Manage up to 50% travel

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5+ years' experience attaining or exceeding set quotas in the Network and Data Security arenas
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including, but not limited to, Firewalls, DLP, and Web Security Proxies
  • Knowledge of routing and switching
  • Creative Sales Thinking and strong commitment to the customer mission
  • Confident in public speaking and C-Level presentation skills
  • Strong professional network with partners and system integrators
  • Excellent white-boarding skills
  • Active TS Clearance preferred but not required

Benefits

Forcepoint offers a competitive salary range of $187,000.00 - $275,000.00, with actual salaries determined by various factors including location, experience, and performance.
