About the role
The Global Account Director, Payment Partnerships - WooCommerce will lead strategic partnerships with payment providers to enhance WooCommerce's ecosystem. This role requires strong business development skills, a deep understanding of e-commerce, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at major payment providers
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with WooCommerce’s strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment solutions that meet customer needs
- Manage and optimize existing partnerships to ensure continued success and growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
- Proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
