Glasshouse Glasscutter Production Associate Night Shift

About the role

Base pay rate: $16.00 per hour, plus $1.45 per hour shift differential. This is a night shift position, Sunday–Thursday, 6 PM–6 AM.

Training period requires working Monday through Friday, 6 AM–6 PM, and may last up to 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Perform workstation functions using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions, work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure, inspect products for defects, and read measurements (candidates will be asked to demonstrate this during the interview).
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate equipment needed to perform job functions.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing (preferred).
• Experience reading a tape measure (preferred).
