Production Associate Night Shift

About the role

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This role involves tasks performed across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows
• Perform workstation functions using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate equipment needed to perform job functions
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• Experience reading a tape measure (preferred)

Pay

Base pay rate: $16.00 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift (6 pm to 6 am, Sunday-Thursday).
