About the role

Base pay rate: $16.00 per hour. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality standards
• Maintain good attendance; willing and able to work overtime (short time may also occur)
• Perform simple arithmetic and read a ruler
• Read and understand schedules; enter data into computer for cutter
• Exhibit strong attention to detail
• Work well with others as part of a team
• Read a tape measure accurately
• Operate and set up programming on machines
• Handle material and perform quality checks
• Demonstrate good organization and communication skills
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Apply good problem-solving skills
• Cross-train and fill in for leads in other areas as necessary
• Follow site-wide safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
• Read fractions and decimals
• Translate instructions into computer commands for machine functions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Able to follow written or verbal instructions
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist
• Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• Experience reading a tape measure (preferred)
