About the role
Base pay rate: $16.00 per hour. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
- Maintain good attendance; willing and able to work overtime (short time may also occur)
- Perform simple arithmetic and read a ruler
- Read and understand schedules; enter data into computer for cutter
- Exhibit strong attention to detail
- Work well with others as part of a team
- Read a tape measure accurately
- Operate and set up programming on machines
- Handle material and perform quality checks
- Demonstrate good organization and communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Apply good problem-solving skills
- Cross-train and fill in for leads in other areas as necessary
- Follow site-wide safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Read fractions and decimals
- Translate instructions into computer commands for machine functions
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Able to follow written or verbal instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist
- Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience reading a tape measure (preferred)
