About the role
The position will provide support for the Monroe County GIVE program. You will play a key role in enhancing public safety by transforming crime data into actionable intelligence that helps criminal justice agencies identify trends, allocate resources effectively, and support evidence-based crime reduction strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collect, compile, validate, interpret, and analyze data and trends using standard practices and techniques of crime and/or law enforcement intelligence analysis
- Perform statistical, spatial, and/or qualitative analyses as needed, using standard software packages
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations of analytical results
- Address emergent public safety threats in relation to Crime Analysis Center (CAC) activities
- Communicate with law enforcement officers involving crimes in progress, pattern recognition, and predictive analysis
- Other duties as assigned

- Exceptional communication skills
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- No experience required
- Equivalent combination of experience & education may be considered
