Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective GIS applications
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of GIS processes and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development and implementation
- Experience with ArcGIS software and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Knowledge of geospatial data models and database management systems
Skills
- Proficiency in ArcGIS and related GIS technologies
- Experience with data science and machine learning
- Strong understanding of geographic concepts and spatial analysis
