Electrical Engineer

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer in Sumter, SC. Relocation assistance will be offered to candidates living up to 50 miles outside Sumter, SC.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile pricing and lead time requests of incoming orders, verifying plant's manufacturing capabilities.
• Verify complete and accurate order entry information from field sales and channel partners.
• Support field sales and channel partners on post-order entry issues.
• Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for less complex switchboard configurations using MI Manager, AutoCAD, and Plant Order Manager.
• Interface with customers, channel partners, Field-Sales, and EatonCare through plant visits, training support, and customer events.
• Schedule orders for production, reconcile customer requested ship dates with product line standard lead times and manufacturing capacity.
• Utilize AS400 programs (OMS and Allocation System) and Microsoft Excel to accomplish scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Engineering from an accredited institution with an expected graduation date by June 2026.
• Basic understanding of electricity.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated technical and application knowledge of switchboards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal & written communications, organizational & computer skills.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 per year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
