GIS Intern

About the role

A GIS intern will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department, gaining a basic understanding of the railroad industry—including its structure and competitive dynamics—as well as G&W’s processes, procedures, and systems. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels while maintaining objectivity and independence
• Self-starter mindset
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Valid driver’s license
