GIS Industry Solutions Specialist - Electric & Gas Utilities
Responsibilities
Aid Industry Managers in collaborating with marketing, sales, products, professional services, international distributors, education, and partner teams to execute campaign tactics effectively.
Create and manage a regular schedule of content such as webinars, customer success stories, eBooks, social media posts, blogs, and more to enhance brand awareness, drive demand, and foster community engagement.
Engage in events like conferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and user groups by preparing for them, managing logistics, and personally participating in discussions.
Contribute to the growth of the Energy Utility community on social media platforms and Esri’s Community by sharing insights, updates, and relevant content.
Collaborate with marketing staff to develop, implement, and track campaign tactics, ensuring clear internal communications and alignment with team goals.
Research, evaluate, and assist in strategic industry positioning, seeking validation from internal and external experts to guide marketing strategies.
Provide industry-specific expertise to support internal requests, partner engagements, and customer meetings, demonstrating deep GIS domain knowledge.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience working in the Energy Utility industry.
Proficiency in GIS and its application within the Energy Utility sector.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Quick learners with a positive attitude and strong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to travel for work-related purposes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field.
Familiarity with web-based business systems.
Master's degree in engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field (preferred).
