About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize GIS technology to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test GIS solutions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geospatial Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and related GIS programming languages.
  • Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of geospatial databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of web mapping technologies and APIs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
