Responsibilities
- Performs advanced geospatial data manipulation, management, and analysis to support a wide range of projects.
- Integrates CAD and GIS workflows, leveraging ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Autodesk, and Bentley MicroStation to meet project requirements.
- Configures and manages ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, and ArcGIS Online (Web GIS) environments to support enterprise geospatial needs.
- Develops and deploys GIS applications, including Experience Builder, Story Maps, custom applications, and mobile solutions such as Survey123, and Field Maps.
- Utilizes ArcGIS Desktop and related tools to create, edit, and analyze spatial data.
- Conducts cartographic design and visualization to effectively communicate complex spatial information.
- Applies GIS tools for network modeling and analysis, with a strong emphasis on Utility Network (water and electric) data models to support asset management, operations, and decision making.
- Supports migration of legacy GIS and CAD data into Utility Network schemas, including data mapping, validation, and QA/QC workflows.
- Processes and analyzes UAV/drone imagery and point cloud data to enhance project deliverables.
- Conceptualizes and executes projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
- Provides GIS training and technical expertise to staff; educates users on CAD and GIS programs and their effective use.
- Identifies opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency through expanded GIS adoption.
- Designs and implements tools to automate workflows and improve processes (e.g., Python, ModelBuilder).
- Communicates regularly with clients to understand needs, provide updates, and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ job-related experience.
- GIS Certificate preferred.
- Experience with Esri Utility Network, including water and/or electric utility data model design, configuration, or implementation (highly preferred).
- Proficient in CAD and GIS integration, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Bentley MicroStation, SQL/and Server infrastructure and other related software programs.
- Experience with UAV/Drone and Point cloud data preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
