Core Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets in support of engineering, planning, and environmental projects.
- Produce high-quality cartographic products, exhibits, and mapping deliverables for proposals, reports, and public presentations.
- Perform spatial analyses, including proximity, overlay, network, and terrain modeling.
- Support field data collection efforts using GPS and mobile GIS applications.
- Manage and organize GIS data to ensure accuracy, currency, and consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental scientists to integrate GIS into project workflows.
- Affiliate in the development of automated GIS processes and tools to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional GIS experience, preferably within the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Experience with utility asset inventory management systems for tracking, maintaining, and managing infrastructure assets.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI software.
- Experience with GPS data collection and mobile GIS applications.
- Knowledge of spatial analysis techniques, coordinate systems, and data management best practices.
- Familiarity with CAD/GIS integration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $52,000 to $62,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
