About the role
The GIS Analyst position at DRMP is responsible for developing and maintaining geospatial databases, creating maps and reports, and collaborating with project teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases using ArcGIS and other relevant software.
- Create detailed maps and reports to support project planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate geospatial data into project workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness through quality assurance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GIS analysis and database management.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS and other GIS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of geographic principles and spatial analysis techniques.
- Experience with data collection, processing, and analysis methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS.
