About the role
The Girls Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of the program, including practices, competitions, athlete development, team supervision, and program growth.
Requirements
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (NYSED approved)
- Valid New York State coaching certification or National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) coaching certification
- Active coaching license (for non‑teacher applicants) or all required pieces uploaded into the TEACH account
- Previous wrestling or coaching experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all student‑athletes
- All candidates must be licensed and have all certifications completed
