Girls Upper School Head Golf Coach, Part-time

Responsibilities

• Promoting spiritual growth in the golf athletes
• Create a culture in the girls golf program consistent with the Westminster Athletic Ten Pillars
• Develop relationships with golf athletes and parents
• Work with other schools, golf courses, and the athletic office to create the varsity and junior varsity competition schedules
• Plan practices for the season which includes securing locations and creating practice plans
• Aid athletes in creating plans for offseason improvement
• Recruit and develop assistant and lower level coaches

Qualifications

• Fulfillment of MSHSAA coaching requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to athletes, parents, and coaches
• Strong and proven leadership skills with a passion for athletes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement daily practice plans
• In-depth knowledge of the rules of golf and basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the golf swing
