About the Role

Coach the high-school Golf Team during the spring season. Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and conditioning; organize travel; manage the team budget; and conduct practices in accordance with the San Juan School District Extracurricular Handbook and UHSAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in golf fundamentals, techniques, and game strategies
• Plan and supervise daily practices
• Make travel arrangements and accompany the team to competitions
• Oversee the team budget
• Comply with all San Juan School District and UHSAA policies

Requirements

• Prior experience coaching golf
• Technical knowledge of golf rules, equipment, and training methods
• Ability to organize and supervise student-athletes

Pay

Placement on the Activity Salary Schedule for Minor B sports. Stipend is paid in full at the conclusion of the season.

Schedule

Spring sport season.
