Girls Track Coach - Middle School - (2026-2027 School Year)

About the role

The position will be located at Berg Middle School and will begin in March 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a track program that meets the needs of all students.
• Provide instruction and support for student athletes.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Requirements

• A valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
• A copy of the following Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate:
• Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate.
• Coaching transcripts.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching track and field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and community members.

Skills

• Knowledge of track and field techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.
