About the Role
Propel Schools is seeking an Assistant Middle School Track Coach for the 26-27 season starting this spring at the following locations: Propel Braddock Hills Middle School, Propel East, Propel Hazelwood, Propel Montour Middle School, and Propel Homestead.
Qualifications
- Prior high school, middle school, and/or youth track coaching experience
- Preferred: student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- Preferred: prior middle school coaching experience
- Preferred: USATF certification
- Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Propel Habits
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for assembling coaching staff
- Responsibility for supporting the Middle School's track program with the head coach, athletic director and other coaching staff
Season Information
The 2026-2027 Middle School Track Season is scheduled to begin in and is anticipated to begin in April and conclude in May, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason.
Pay
This position includes a seasonal stipend of $1,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.

- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
