Responsibilities
- Assist the varsity head coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Girls Soccer Program
- Set up practices, games, and schedules for the program
- Supervise athletes at practices and games
- Care and maintenance of program equipment
- Arrange team transportation
- Work with booster club and attend regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate program goals
- Adjust work schedule for practices and games as needed
Requirements
- Strong background in high school, college, and/or club soccer competition as a player and/or coach
- Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities
- Leadership skills including organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution
- Ability to work effectively with student athletes, parents, staff, and the community
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree and MN Teaching License with coaching certificate, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working with high school-age students
- Previous experience as a player and/or coach (preferred)
Pay
$4,130 stipend (may be pro-rated based on FTE of assignment)
