Girls Soccer Coach

About the role

Park Slope United (PSU) is a leading youth soccer club in Brooklyn, serving over 3,000 players—both girls and boys. Built on core principles of community, integrity, and excellence, we aim to continue our growth to become more prominent on a regional and national level. We are seeking committed, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable candidates to work within our Girls Program.

Successful candidates will teach fundamental skills to children while emphasizing development, teamwork, and fun. They will lead training sessions and games for 5- to 10-year-olds, following our curriculum and focusing on the holistic development of each player.

Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions and games for 5- to 10-year-old girls
• Teach fundamental soccer skills while emphasizing development, teamwork, and fun
• Follow the club’s curriculum and focus on the holistic development of each player
• Communicate effectively with children and parents

Requirements

• Experience working with children, especially girls
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
• Enjoy working with children and care about their holistic development
• Patient and caring manner

Qualifications

• Some playing experience (minimum high school level)
• Interest in beginning a career in coaching soccer

Pay

Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
