Girls Soccer Coach (Junior Varsity)

About the role

The successful candidate will be employed as a teacher and licensed as an Athletic Coach by the New Mexico Public Education Department.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach students in accordance with district curriculum and standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state educational guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with other teachers and coaches to enhance student learning experiences.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching and coaching skills.

Requirements

• Current teaching license and certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
• Current coaching license from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
• Experience in teaching and/or coaching at the secondary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience working with students who have special needs.
• Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into teaching practices.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend commitments for coaching activities.
