About the role
The successful candidate will be employed as a teacher and licensed as an Athletic Coach by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
Responsibilities
- Teach and coach students in accordance with district curriculum and standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state educational guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and coaches to enhance student learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching and coaching skills.
Requirements
- Current teaching license and certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
- Current coaching license from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
- Experience in teaching and/or coaching at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with students who have special needs.
- Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into teaching practices.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
