About the role
The Williamsville Central School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill Fall 2026 coaching positions at South High School. The district is particularly interested in hiring a Head Coach for Girls' Modified Field Hockey.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive field hockey program that meets the needs of student athletes.
- Collaborate with other coaches and administrators to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
- Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding safety, health, and ethical conduct.
- Manage team finances, including budgeting and fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Must hold a current NYS Teaching Certification or NYS Coaching Certification or NYS Temporary Coaching License.
- Save, DASA, Child Abuse Workshop, GCN Training must be completed.
- Current First Aid, CPR & AED certifications are required.
- Fingerprinting clearance is necessary.
- Additional requirements may apply as per State regulations and district expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience coaching girls' modified field hockey at the high school level.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate student athletes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Skills
- Knowledge of field hockey rules and regulations.
- Ability to manage budgets and fundraising efforts.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.

Pay
The stipend for this position ranges from $3325 to $4275, dependent on step per WTA contract.
Schedule
The schedule for this position will be determined based on the needs of the school and the individual coach's availability.
