About the role

The Field Hockey Coach - Girls (JV Head) position at Bayside High School is responsible for leading the JV field hockey team. The coach will work closely with the Principal/SAC to ensure the team's success and adherence to school policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a coaching strategy that enhances player skills and teamwork
• Manage team practices and games, adhering to the school’s schedule and guidelines
• Work with the athletic department to secure necessary equipment and facilities
• Maintain communication with players, parents, and other coaches
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or related field
• Proven experience as a high school field hockey coach
• Experience working with young athletes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
