GI Technician/Medical Assistant
What You Will Do
- Cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites
- Assisting physicians and staff nurses during procedures
- Performing daily equipment maintenance
- Supporting the center's mission
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech (a plus)
- Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting
- Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques (a plus)
- Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)
The Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.
