What You Will Do (Job Summary)
- Assist with the operation of technical equipment used during endoscopic procedures.
- Work as a team with the physician, registered nurse to provide optimal conditions for patient outcomes.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and other instrumentation.
- Facilitate patient flow, room turnover.
- Stock procedure rooms, order supplies.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years clinical experience as Operating Room/ GI technician (desired)
- Sterile processing experience (preferred)
- Certification in OR Technology (preferred)
- Current certification in CPR
- Able to lift 25lbs
- Ability to communicate and understand the English language, both verbally and in writing
