What You Will Do (Job Summary)

  • Assist with the operation of technical equipment used during endoscopic procedures.
  • Work as a team with the physician, registered nurse to provide optimal conditions for patient outcomes.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and other instrumentation.
  • Facilitate patient flow, room turnover.
  • Stock procedure rooms, order supplies.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years clinical experience as Operating Room/ GI technician (desired)
  • Sterile processing experience (preferred)
  • Certification in OR Technology (preferred)
  • Current certification in CPR
  • Able to lift 25lbs
  • Ability to communicate and understand the English language, both verbally and in writing
