GI Certified Surgical Technologist

About the role

Brunswick and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. This position is part of a Magnet Designated hospital, one of only nine percent of US hospitals to hold this distinction. The role will primarily work in the Endoscopy suite, providing support to patients before, during, and after Endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Surgeons during Endoscopic procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment
• Manage sterile field and instrument sets
• Provide patient care and monitor vital signs
• Collaborate with nursing staff and surgeons

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Surgical Technician Certification required (ARC/STSA or NBSTSA)
• Current experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery setting
• Adherence to I.C.A.R.E. standards
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment
• Knowledge of septic and aseptic technique
• Awareness of patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs

Qualifications

Pay

$33.25 - $38.15/Hourly Grade 4

Schedule

Full-time 40hrs Day Shift, Monday-Friday- NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO CALL Shifts: 7am-5:30pm or 8am-6:30pm
