The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN. The new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center features 10 operating rooms and is the largest in Tennessee. Since 1979, we have been Chattanooga’s leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care.
About the role
The surgical technologist will perform technical responsibilities relative to assisting physicians with the instrumentation of surgical intervention, monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies, clean and sterilize all surgical instruments, and participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent
- BLS Certification (Required)
- NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification (Required)
