About the Role
The Certified Surgical Technologist assists in surgical procedures within a fast-paced, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center, ensuring a sterile environment and proper preparation of supplies and instruments.
Responsibilities
- Scrubs for surgeries and maintains sterile fields
- Supports quality improvement activities
- Collaborates effectively with surgical team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Surgical Technologist training program
- 2+ years of experience, especially in orthopedic procedures
- Relevant certification (e.g., CST)
- Understanding of aseptic techniques
- Ability to adapt quickly to patient needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous ambulatory surgical center experience preferred
