GFEBS Trainer
About the role
Quattro Consulting, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) On-Site Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Trainer to support DoD financial management users across the US Army Central Command (USARCENT) Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive guidance and training support for GFEBS, including developing and facilitating workshops and group training sessions tailored to various user levels.
- Develop and facilitate workshops covering key functionalities of GFEBS, ensuring that participants understand the system's processes, best practices, and reporting capabilities.
- Facilitate Q&A sessions and one-on-one coaching to reinforce learning and address specific user challenges.
- Proactively submit detailed suggestions for process improvements, including specific areas where efficiency can be increased, potential obstacles, and the expected benefits of implementing these changes.
- Support the Level II ARCENT help desk by actively escalating suggestions for process improvements and diligently reporting any issues encountered by business users.
- Offer comprehensive and professional support to USARCENT enduring and deployed locations for all concerns related to GFEBS, including promptly answering usage questions related to GFEBS functionalities, assisting with Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Customer Care (ECC) data queries, and troubleshooting and resolving reporting system issues.
- Support areas include Material Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales Distribution, labor and payroll, ATAAPS, HR mini-master, Project Systems, Funds Management, Business Intelligence, Business Objects, and Web Intelligence, as well as other Resource Management (RM) and Cost Volume Services (CVS) processes.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve interface issues related to GFEBS, including troubleshooting interactions with systems such as the LMP, GPC-AXOL, SPS, GCSS-A, and ATAAPs, and ensure all resolutions are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders to improve future interface reliability.
- Support the ARCENT Performance Metrics team by helping with Alternative Performance Measures (APM) and trend analysis, including analyzing data, preparing reports, and working with team members to identify key performance indicators.
- Assist in developing resolutions and recommendations that lead to credible and usable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and job aids. These documents are regularly reviewed and updated, and the SME periodically reviews samples of transactions to ensure that the proposed resolutions outlined in the SOPs and job aids remain accurate and relevant.
Work Environment
Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and/or occasional loud noise (airfield, large equipment). Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Ability to work in confined areas.
Physical Demands
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree // OR // 4 years of relevant experience.
- Current, active secret security clearance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with GFEBS, including a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a subject matter expert and/or in a help-desk capacity.
- Experience must include working and resolving systems issues, processing of transactions within GFEBS, and training of new personnel.
- Candidates should have experience with the Remedy system for GFEBS, as well as familiarity with the GFEBS Change Control Board process and Change Requests.
- Must be an established user in GFEBS with all GFEBS roles necessary for the SME mission.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to pass medical and physical qualifications per US Army Guidelines.
- Must pass a Kuwaiti government review of US FBI Background check.
- Must be able to travel to Kuwait and other countries in the ARCENT AOR; many training sites are in austere locations.
- Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID.
