What you'll do As an Event Specialist, you'll help create memorable guest experiences by: Welcoming and engaging event attendees Operating interactive attractions and experiences Explaining activities and rules Encouraging participation Creating excitement and positive energy Assisting with event setup and teardown Representing DRS Events professionally Every event is different, which means every shift is different too. Pay & how to apply Compensation Event Specialist is a paid independent contractor (1099) role. Pay is per event and typically around $20 per hour; the exact amount depends on the event, role, and hours. Some events also include tips, bonuses, or commission opportunities. You invoice for the hours you work and are paid promptly after each event. What's included Flexible scheduling (pick the events that work for you), paid training as needed, a fun on-site work environment, and a variety of events.
