Join CHI Health Clinic in Grand Island, Nebraska, as a Primary Care Physician specializing in Geriatric Medicine. This role offers comprehensive outpatient primary care services, collaboration with specialists, and the opportunity to build a thriving practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services in a traditional ambulatory clinic setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across a diverse patient population
- Deliver preventive care, wellness services, and chronic disease management to support long-term patient health
- Develop lasting relationships with patients and families through continuity of care
- Practice within a collaborative multispecialty environment designed to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes
- Participate in a shared clinic call schedule designed to promote work-life balance
- Utilize EPIC as the integrated electronic medical record in both the clinic and hospital settings
- Work closely with hospitalists and intensivists who provide inpatient care support
- Academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine
Requirements
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Completion of a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine training program
- Valid Nebraska medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
- Nebraska DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
