German Tax Consultant - Steuerberater
About the role
We are seeking a German Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) to join our dynamic firm. With over 45 years of experience serving foreign-owned businesses in the U.S., we specialize in accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting services tailored to the unique needs of these companies.
Responsibilities
- Engage in challenging projects and work closely with clients and partners.
- Independently prepare tax returns, technical memos, and opinions.
- Collaborate with German-speaking clients doing business in the U.S.
- Participate in international transactions and provide design and implementation advice.
- Assist with auditing and other attestation engagements.
- Earn the US CPA certification.
Requirements
- A successful completion of a degree in business management, economics, or a related field.
- Completion of a tax consultant exam.
- At least 3 years of practical work experience in tax.
- Exceptional English language skills (both written and spoken).
- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Enthusiastic about working with international middle market and entrepreneurial companies.

Pay Range
Base Pay Range: $90,000-$150,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
